Job Overview
The Fuel Distribution Officer is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and safe fuel deliveries across Sasol’s retail and commercial networks.
The role emphasizes adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage on-time and accurate fuel deliveries
- Ensure reliable deliveries with own fleet
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report defects
- Maintain communication with the Logistics Centre
- Complete shipments accurately and analyze gains/losses
- Follow delivery sequences and minimize unproductive time
- Identify and report operational risks and incidents
- Prevent spillages and contamination during deliveries
- Comply with safety, site, and SHERQ procedures
Essential Qualifications
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- Code EC (Code 14) driver’s license
- Valid PrDP and Hazchem/Dangerous Goods Certificate
Experience
- 2-5 years driving experience within the petroleum industry
