DHL Supply Chain South Africa is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to provide vital administrative support within the warehouse operations.
Job Title: Warehouse Clerk
Job Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Organization: DHL Supply Chain (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd.
Closing Date: On-going
The role involves ensuring accurate record-keeping, documentation management, and supporting service delivery to meet operational standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with management to maintain efficiency, compliance, and high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Report and record any non-conformities or faults
- Handle pallet documentation and ensure correct load documentation
- Maintain accurate customer records and daily delivery reports
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
- Verify loads and ensure proper sign-off of PODs and pallet slips
- Support change initiatives and adhere to safety and compliance policies
- Organize stationaries and perform general administrative tasks
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote awareness of quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22716, ISO 13485)
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric
- 3-4 years of administration experience
- 1-2 years of logistics/warehousing experience
- Computer literacy and strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and accurate data capturing
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
