Two Rivers Platinum Mine is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage all supply chain activities to ensure uninterrupted mining operations.

Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will lead, plan, and manage procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and supplier performance, ensuring the optimal availability of materials and equipment for continuous mining activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Stores Management, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Accounting
Minimum Experience
- At least 5 years experience in procurement and material management within a mining environment
- Knowledge of mining equipment and materials
- Strong understanding of supply chains and products
- Familiarity with commercial law, business contracts, SLAs, and regulations
- Experience with Delta, Oracle, or Coupa systems is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Chain Management
- Develop and implement the mine’s supply chain strategy
- Lead demand planning and forecasting
- Support cost reduction initiatives
Procurement and Sourcing
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations
- Ensure sourcing strategies are cost-effective, ethical, and support local economic development
Inventory and Warehouse Management
- Optimize stock levels to balance availability and working capital
- Oversee warehousing practices, including FIFO, bin management, and safety
Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Lead supply chain audits and risk management efforts
People Leadership
- Lead and develop the supply chain team
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability
Logistics and Distribution
- Coordinate transportation and freight contracts
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Terms & Conditions
- Appointment is contingent upon medical fitness according to the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996
