The 2026 France-South Africa Scholarship Programme invites applications from citizens of South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi who wish to pursue Master’s or PhD studies in any field at a university in France, starting in September 2026.

Eligibility
The programme is open to students in all fields of study who plan to begin their studies in France in September 2026.
Candidates will undergo a selection process, and those selected will be contacted individually.
Important:
- Laureates will follow a specific preparatory programme in South Africa from February to July 2026, including online French courses and possibly an internship in South African French companies, depending on individual profiles and opportunities.
- Applications must be carefully prepared in accordance with the rulebook and FAQs available on the Campus France South Africa website.
