Fundraiser

Job Overview
CANSA invites applications for a Fundraiser to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves fundraising and income generation through national projects and special events, as well as volunteer management.
Key Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12, with a qualification in Event Management advantageous
- At least 1 year’s experience in fundraising
- Extensive knowledge of the local area and businesses
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and social media skills
- Excellent customer service and professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate groups/volunteers
- Good organizing and time management skills
- Resilience and emotional maturity in a target-driven, high-pressure environment
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s license and own transport
- Ability to work over weekends
- Non-smoker

HR Support Officer

Job Overview
CANSA is offering a permanent position for a Junior HR Support Officer within the HR Department. The role involves supporting HR inquiries, recruitment, administrative tasks, and HR project coordination.
Key Requirements
- Preferably a 3-year qualification in Human Resources with at least 3 years’ HR experience, or Grade 12 with 5+ years’ proven HR experience
- Prior experience with VIP Payroll is essential
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (BCEA, EE Act, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act)
- Strong HR administration and people management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and HR software
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s License and own transport advantageous
- Non-smoker
