About Your Apprenticeship Journey
- Complete both practical and theoretical training, including courses at formal learning institutions.
- Gain hands-on experience in manufacturing plants.
- Study subjects such as Maintenance Theory & Practice, Dairy Technology, Productivity, and Economy.
- Complete practical training and the Millwright Trade Test.
- Be placed at a manufacturing facility for real-world experience.
- Earn a monthly stipend throughout the program.
Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate / NQF Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering subjects.
- Over 60% in Physical Science.
- Above 60% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Reliable, eager to learn new technologies.
- Practical experience in production or maintenance is an advantage.
Applicants must have matriculated between 2020 – 2025 with first-class grades in Science and Maths to be eligible.
