The successful intern will support the team in developing data models, conducting advanced analytics, and providing insights that influence credit policies and portfolio management.

What You Will Love Doing in This Role
- Assisting in the development and validation of credit scoring models
- Supporting analysis of customer behavior, risk trends, and repayment performance
- Extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets using SQL, Python, or R
- Contributing to predictive modelling, segmentation, and machine learning projects
- Building dashboards and performance reports
- Collaborating with risk, finance, and technology teams on data-driven initiatives

Qualification & Skills Needed
- Completed BSc, BCom, Bus Sci, BEng, or similar numerate degree

- Understanding of statistics, modelling, and data structures
- South African citizenship or permanent residency
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn in a high-impact environment
