NEMISA is seeking 18 Digital Ambassadors to join the Ya Rona Digital Programme on a six-month contract.

These roles are based at various TVET Colleges across South Africa, with specific locations in the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape, and Northern Cape.
Candidates residing within the catchment areas of the designated colleges are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn basic digital literacy skills through provided modules.
- Participate actively in training sessions to acquire sufficient knowledge.
- Conduct training sessions for community members on digital literacy.
- Liaise with municipalities to secure venues for community training.
- Facilitate training of learners on the Learner Management System.
- Achieve weekly and monthly training targets.
- Provide weekly reports on trained citizens against set targets.
- Prepare and submit training plans for communities, schools, and organizations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Minimum:
- National Certificate in Information Technology and Computer Science (NQF level 2-4) or related; OR
- Matric
- Ideal:
- N6 or Diploma in IT or related field
Experience
- Minimum:
- 1-2 years’ work experience in related roles or training.
- Ideal:
- Bilingual ability is advantageous.
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with computer packages.
- Ability to train and communicate effectively with community members.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of digital literacy modules and Learner Management System.
Additional Information
- Stipend: Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend.
- Reporting: Directly to the Project Manager of the Ya Rona Digital Programme.
