The successful candidates will provide high-quality customer service, resolving customer queries efficiently and contributing to revenue collection efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- Basic knowledge of debt collections, call center operations, customer service, or credit management
- Knowledge of local government will be an added advantage
- 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment
Primary Function
To deliver excellent customer service by resolving at least 90% of customer queries on first contact within the One Stop Customer Service Center, exceeding targets set by the R & CRM Department, through initiative, creativity, and innovation.
Key Performance Areas
- Improve and maximize revenue collection by addressing customer queries
- Log all queries into SAP CRM according to set standards
- Ensure efficient processing of applications and quotations
- Maintain strong customer relations to enhance customer experience
- Provide debtors with full payment options and arrangements
- Collaborate with other units for efficient service delivery
- Administer and record all relevant documents for stakeholder review and auctioning
- Foster stakeholder relations and communication
- Implement governance and risk management practices
- Manage assets, resources, and tools effectively
- Provide accurate operational reports on performance and functions
Leading Competencies
- Basic knowledge of debt collection, call center operations, customer service, or credit management
- Knowledge of local government operations (advantageous)
- Customer orientation and active listening skills
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP data entry skills
- Strong verbal communication and phone skills
