Harry Gwala District Municipality invites unemployed residents to apply for the position of EPWP Water Monitors.
These roles aim to support water supply and sanitation services across various wards within the district.
Successful candidates will assist in executing water management tasks, reporting leaks, and maintaining water levels under supervision.
Requirements
- Must be unemployed
- Strictly reside within Harry Gwala District and the specific ward of application
- Preference will be given to applicants who have never participated in the programme before
- Must be under the age of 60
- Unemployed youth, women, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Key Performance Areas
- Execute instructions given by the plumber
- Check reservoir water levels and take steps to boost water levels and implement water rationing
- Identify and report water leaks
- Perform any other duties related to water supply and sanitation within the district
