Old Mutual is seeking motivated unemployed graduates to join their Broker Academy internship program in Durban.

This full-time internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all broker activities within Old Mutual Insure, contributing to Africa’s story of growth and opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Participants will be exposed to a diverse range of activities including:
- Lead Generation and Cold Calling
- Canvassing (door-to-door outreach)
- Sourcing Partnerships and Collaborations
- Networking and Managing External Events
- Administrative and Housekeeping duties
- Continuous learning through product knowledge assessments, training sessions, and internal courses
- Attending performance check-in sessions, peer-to-peer training, and product/underwriting workshops
- Participating in daily team meetings
- Submitting weekly performance and sales feedback
Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics/Maths Literacy and English
- Post-Matric, Tertiary qualification recognized by FSCA (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Accountancy at NQF Level 6)
Additional Requirements:
- Must be unemployed and not registered for other internships or bursaries through INSETA or SETA
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license preferred
- Must be based in KZN
