Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Experience: 0 to 6 months
- Knowledge of: Unemployment Insurance Act, Contributions Act, Public Service Regulations & Act, Batho Pele Principles, departmental policies, customer care
- Skills: Verbal & written communication, listening, computer literacy, customer relations, decision-making
Duties
- Receive and assess all UI claims via relevant systems in line with SOP
- Register employers and verify employee declarations
- Execute payment of approved claims within set timeframes
- Attend to enquiries regarding claims and other related matters
- Perform administrative duties within the section
