1. Trainee Engineering Technician – Cape Town (FACT)

Position Summary:
Applications are invited for a Trainee Engineering Technician (Peromnes 13) at ATNS Cape Town (FACT).
The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor: Technical Support FACT, receiving both theoretical and practical training to develop competency as an Engineering Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain proficiency in maintenance activities on equipment, systems, and site infrastructure
- Learn fault diagnosis down to module Level Replacement Unit (LRU)
- Perform operator-level service restoration and reconfiguration
- Develop skills in performance analysis, report drafting, and compliance with SACAA and ICAO standards
- Support Communications, Navigations, and Surveillance systems
Minimum Requirements:
- S4 National Diploma in Light Current Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Completed prescribed Technical Learnership at ATNS Aviation Training Academy
- Preferably ACSA AVOP certified
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
2. Trainee Engineering Technician – OR Tambo International Airport (FAOR)
