About the Internship Programme
The BMA Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience within various departments of the Authority.
The programme is designed to develop skills, foster professional growth, and provide exposure to the operational environment of border management.
General Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 years.
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Only candidates who have not previously participated in an internship programme are eligible.
- Applicants must have completed at least a 3-year qualification from a recognized institution registered with the Department of Higher Education & Training.
- Students are encouraged to list major subjects on their CV or attach an academic transcript.
- Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit certified copies of ID, qualifications, and recent academic records.
- Applications must be submitted using the official BMA application form and must clearly specify the position title and reference number.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- The closing date for applications is 20 May 2025.
- Successful candidates will receive a market-related stipend during the internship.
