Sasol Youth Development Graduate Programme 2025

Sasol is seeking motivated and capable individuals to join its Youth Development Programme.

  • Closing Date: 15 May 2025
  • Location: Sandton
  • Duration: Fixed Term Contract for 24 months

The main purpose of this role is to drive the digital learning experience and adoption within the Energy Business, develop the learning & development teams’ digital capabilities, and establish technical coaching and mentoring structures within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Learning Experience and Adoption:

  • Implement the digital learning strategy, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand and meet learning needs.
  • Curate and communicate digital learning content, including miGrowth (Percipio) adoption statistics.

  • Manage and publish digital communication platforms such as Monthly Learning ConnectionLearning on the Go, and lead digital learning campaigns.
  • Drive digital learning experience by implementing relevant platforms and integrating digital libraries.

Digital Competencies and Capabilities:

  • Develop and implement a digital capability framework focused on current and future skills.
  • Support the development of the Learning & Development team’s digital skills, including Data Analysis and Visualization.

Technical Coaching and Mentoring:

  • Establish a Technical Coaching framework, including governance, coach screening, and role definitions.
  • Create and maintain a database of qualified coaches to support business needs.
  • Develop models and frameworks for coach training and evaluate program effectiveness.

Learning & Development Team Effectiveness and Communication:

  • Ensure that SharePoint and internet sites are current and engaging.
  • Facilitate feedback collection through surveys, track actions, and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with Skills Academy Managers to analyze feedback and implement improvements.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Economic, or Management Science from a recognized university.

Minimum Experience:

  • 0-2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in implementing Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and digital learning solutions.
  • Skills in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, using relevant tools/platforms.
  • Experience in competency framework development is advantageous.
