The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and inspecting machinery, plant, and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in coal logistics operations.
This role demands a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge, safety awareness, and effective communication skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written)
- Ability to compile and interpret Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Capable of working under pressure and long hours
Knowledge Requirements
- Understanding of policies, procedures, work instructions, and SHEQ documentation
- Basic knowledge of legislative acts such as OHS Act 1993, ISO 14001 & 9001, OHS Act 18001, and PFMA
- Familiarity with operating principles of relevant tools, equipment, and permit systems
