
DHL is offering a fully funded scholarship for talented young leaders from the Americas region.
The scholarship includes participation in the Climate Entrepreneurship Academy, delivered by the NYU Center for Global Affairs.
The Academy will take place from August 6-10, 2025, in New York City. This scholarship is made possible through a partnership between AFS Intercultural Programs.

About the Academy
The Academy is part of the AFS Youth Assembly, a platform for young leaders and changemakers.
This program is designed to equip participants with knowledge and strategies for developing climate-focused start-ups.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an emerging leader passionate about sustainability and climate action.
- Have never previously attended the AFS Youth Assembly.
- Be between 18–35 years old at the start of the program.
- Reside in the Americas region.
- Be able to participate actively in sessions conducted in English.
- Hold a U.S. passport, a passport that does not require a visa for entry into the United States, or a valid U.S. visa.
What is Included
The scholarship covers:
- Program registration fees for the full Climate Entrepreneurship Academy and AFS Youth Assembly program (August 6-10, 2025, in New York City).
- A travel stipend to reimburse transportation costs.
- 5 nights accommodation in a double room at a New York City hotel, with breakfast included.
- An evening dinner cruise in NY Harbor.
