CARE International is seeking applications for President’s Circle Fundraising Internships

CARE International is offering President’s Circle fundraising internships. 

These internships provide hands-on experience in fundraising, event planning, and donor stewardship. 

The internships are typically based in Washington, D.C. and involve at least 250 hours of work during the summer. The role includes a $4,000 stipend.

Position Details

CARE is seeking applications for the position of Intern, President’s Circle Fundraising.

  • Work Location: US – Atlanta, GA
  • Other Possible Location: Remote Work Location
  • Funding: APPROVED
  • Expected Travel: Not Applicable
  • Type of Contract: Intern-Pay
  • Language Requirement: English

Scope of Work

The intern will contribute to the President’s Circle fundraising efforts by undertaking the following tasks:

  • Writing individual notes and making thank you phone calls to donors.
  • Drafting email copy to donors.
  • Assisting in creating stewardship and cultivation plans for donors.

  • Assembling mailings to donors.
  • Updating donor data in Salesforce.
  • Conducting research.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting relationship management work by assisting with mailings, emails, and phone calls.
  • Ensuring data quality (e.g., updating salutation fields, birthdays, and any additional data in Salesforce).
