
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) invites applications for full scholarships for journalists worldwide to participate in Arizona State University’s (ASU) elite Howard Center for Investigative Journalism Editing Program.

About the Program
Selected participants will attend a 12-week online course designed to equip them with the skills to develop and guide strong, impactful investigative project ideas.
The program is led by the award-winning professional faculty of ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and its pioneering Howard Center for Investigative Journalism.
Scholarship recipients will also participate in monthly ICFJ-led virtual discussions to connect with fellow international journalists and meet with prominent speakers from the field.

Eligibility and Application Requirements
Funding from the Scripps Howard Foundation allows ICFJ to offer full scholarships for international applicants.
- Applicants should be mid-career journalists (at least 5 years of investigative journalism experience).
- Applicants must have working level proficiency in the English language.
- The application is open to journalists from around the world (excluding the USA).
- Freelance journalists may apply.
- Applications must be submitted via the ICFJ application form to be considered for the scholarship.
Important Notes
If selected for a scholarship, ICFJ will help facilitate the recipient’s registration for the course through ASU.
If not selected for a scholarship, interested journalists can still enroll in the program at their own expense directly through the ASU website (full tuition cost)..
