
The U.S. Department of State is announcing the availability of the Electronic Diversity Visa Entrant Status Check for applicants to the Diversity Visa program.
For DV-2026 applicants, the Entrant Status Check is currently available and will remain open until September 30, 2026.
For DV-2025 applicants, the Entrant Status Check will remain open until September 30, 2025.
To utilize the Entrant Status Check, applicants must have the following information readily available: Entrant’s Confirmation Number, Last/Family Name, and Year of Birth. These details are required to check the entrant status online.
The Department reminds applicants that the public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 30 minutes per response.
This includes time for searching existing data sources, gathering necessary documentation, providing required information, and reviewing the final collection.
Applicants are not required to supply this information unless the collection displays a currently valid OMB control number.
Comments regarding the accuracy of this burden estimate or recommendations for reduction can be sent to PRA_BurdenComments@state.gov.
In accordance with INA Section 222(f), visa issuance and refusal records are confidential and are used solely for the formulation, amendment, administration, or enforcement of U.S. immigration, nationality, and other laws.
Certified copies of visa records may be provided to a court that certifies the information is needed in a pending case.
Diversity Visa 2026 selections are now available. Applicants for the DV-2026 program can check their selection status by entering their confirmation number.
This is the ONLY authorized method for checking Diversity Visa entry status.
