1. Department for Business & Trade (DEN25112)
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Working Hours: 35 hours/week
Salary: Unpaid internship (with benefits)
Type: Full-time, fixed-term (9 months) with a 3-month probation

About the Role:
The British Embassy Copenhagen is recruiting a motivated student to join the Department for Business & Trade (DBT).

This internship offers a unique chance to support UK businesses in expanding into the Danish market and assist overseas companies in establishing themselves in the UK.

The intern will gain practical experience in market research, business development, stakeholder engagement, event management, and support for priority campaigns such as Growing Green Together.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Enrolled in a European university program for the entire internship duration
  • Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (C1 level)
  • Demonstrable interest in trade and business development

About the Role:
This internship at the British Embassy Copenhagen offers exposure to foreign policy, security, climate policy, and public diplomacy.

The intern will assist with political reporting, event organization, social media management, and policy research, contributing to strengthening UK-Denmark relations and promoting UK values.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Enrolled in a university program and studying throughout the internship period
  • Fluency in English (B2 level) and Danish (C1 level) per CEFR standards
  • Strong interest in politics, international relations, or communications
  • Excellent team-working and communication skills
