Clean Air Asia invites passionate individuals to apply for the position of Urban Planning Intern.

This opportunity is ideal for those who are eager to contribute to healthier, more livable cities across the region.

Clean Air Asia is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to improving air quality and promoting sustainable urban development in Asia.

I. BACKGROUND

Clean Air Asia’s mission focuses on reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, facilitating the transformation towards low-carbon and resilient urban development in the Philippines, India, Thailand, China, and Indonesia.

As one of the implementing organizations of the Integrated Urban Climate Action for Low-Carbon and Resilient Cities (Urban-Act) Project, Clean Air Asia collaborates with partners such as the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to create enabling conditions and frameworks for sustainable development.

The Urban-Act Project aligns with the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, striving to strengthen the capacities of cities for mainstreaming climate change considerations into urban development. Interns will gain valuable practical experience in sustainable urban planning and climate action.
