The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is excited to announce an opportunity for a Home-based Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
This pivotal role is essential for supporting WAGGGS in its mission to deliver impactful services to its Member Organisations across 153 countries, which collectively serve over 10 million girls and young women globally.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Coordinator
- Location: Home-based, preferably within the Asia Pacific Region, where WAGGGS can provide a Contract for Services
- Hours/Tenure: Flexible, between 21 – 35 hours per week
- Salary/Fee: Salary is dependent on contract, location, and experience. For a full-time role based in the UK, the salary range is approximately £27K – £33K per annum.
- Contract Type: Fixed term, 12-month contract

Job Purpose:
The MEL Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the success of WAGGGS, particularly in integrating high-quality Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning processes into all programmatic efforts.
This role is fundamental for the Global Programmes Team (GPT), which oversees various programs developed in conjunction with Member Organisations around the world.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with programme staff to meld MEL activities seamlessly into project planning and execution.
The MEL Coordinator will utilize insights and findings to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement across WAGGGS initiatives.
About You:
WAGGGS is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MEL Coordinator who is passionate about using data to drive program excellence.
The selected individual will be instrumental in designing and carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities, particularly within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs.
Responsibilities will include ensuring high quality and timely data collection, analysis, and reporting.
