Selected participants will have the opportunity to receive up to USD 100,000 in funding, English lessons, enhanced visibility, and access to a global community of support.
In collaboration with Cartier Women’s Initiative, this opportunity is specifically designed for women entrepreneurs leading early-stage impact companies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Founded in 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative aims to drive transformative change by empowering women impact entrepreneurs across various sectors and countries, focusing on businesses that strive for significant and sustainable social and/or environmental impact.
Regional Awards
Application Deadline: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM CEST.
The Cartier Women’s Initiative team, along with their partners and jury members, assures applicants that all submitted business information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Only a brief summary, including the business name and a short description, will be publicized for selected businesses, and no identifiable information will be released without prior consent from the applicant.
If selected as a finalist, applicants may be required to submit additional supporting documentation. Please note that, due to the high volume of applications, individual feedback cannot be provided to non-finalists.
Important Note: Each business may only submit one application per year. Applications submitted under multiple categories or by multiple founders will be disqualified.
Key Dates:
- Application Period: April 18 – June 24, 2025, at 2 PM CEST.
- First Round Notifications: August 1, 2025.
- Final Notifications: All applicants will be notified by December 1, 2025.
Technology Pioneer Award
This year’s Cartier Women’s Initiative also features the 2026 Science & Technology Pioneer Award for innovative businesses at the intersection of technology and social/environmental impact.
Application Deadline: Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM CEST.
Similar to the Regional Awards, the team at Cartier Women’s Initiative commits to confidentiality regarding all submitted business information.
Only a brief summary of selected businesses will be shared publicly, with no individualized details disclosed without consent.
Shortlisted businesses will also be required to provide additional supporting documentation, and individual feedback on applications for non-finalists will not be possible due to the anticipated number of submissions.

- The application form must be completed online while logged into a Submittable account. A free account can be created with a valid email address.
- All communication regarding applications will be conducted via email. It is essential to keep the email address active and safelist notifications from Submittable.
- Applicants have the flexibility to save a draft and complete it before the deadline of June 24, 2025.
- Revisions can be requested after submission if needed before the deadline; please allow up to 2 business days for the request to be processed.
- If a wrong application form is filled out, businesses can withdraw their submission and resubmit.
- Submittable is optimized for Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari—ensure the browser is up to date.
- A PDF of the submission can be downloaded after the deadline.
