- Professional Experience: YPs will contribute to professional-level work from their very first assignment.
- Field Rotation: Participants will undertake at least one rotation at IsDB Regional Hubs, deepening connections with beneficiaries.
- Missions: YPs will travel on assignments to Member Countries, fostering extensive learning and personal development.
- Training: A comprehensive two-year training curriculum focuses on both technical and soft skills, with some courses accredited by top institutions.
- Coaching and Mentoring: YPs will receive career advice from assigned advisors and benefit from group coaching sessions to accelerate their progression.
Upon successful program completion, YPs are eligible to join the IsDB High Potential Talent Pool for further career advancement.
Eligibility Criteria
a) Minimum Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Education: A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a highly reputed university, completed within four years prior to the application deadline (31 May 2025).
- Citizenship: Preference will be given to citizens of IsDB member countries.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or French is advantageous.
- Age: Candidates must be no older than 32 years by the deadline (31 May 2025).
- Location: Willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and travel as needed.
- Experience: Up to five years of relevant experience in IsDB’s core sectors, obtained post-bachelor’s degree.
- Commitment: A strong passion for the IsDB mission and development model.
b) Additional Considerations
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Achieve Distinction, Merit, or Honours in their Master’s programs.
- Are recipients of IsDB Scholarships.
- Are bilingual or trilingual in Arabic and/or French.
- Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Possess or are pursuing a Professional Certification or PhD in a related field.

While candidates from diverse academic backgrounds are welcome, the YPP particularly encourages applications from graduates in the following fields, which will receive preferential consideration:
