The EurekAlert! Travel Awards for International Science Reporters is a prestigious program dedicated to supporting excellence in science journalism globally, with a distinct focus on low- and middle-income countries.
This opportunity allows early-career science, technology, and health journalists to receive travel funding and essential support to attend the AAAS Annual Meeting.
Participants will engage with the latest research and network with peers from across the globe. We are seeking passionate early-career science journalists from the following countries:
- Brazil
- Bulgaria
- Czechia
- Estonia
- Hungary
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Moldova
- Poland
- Romania
- Slovakia
- Ukraine
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have no more than five (5) years of professional science journalism experience.
- Winners will receive travel funding to attend the 2026 AAAS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Working proficiency in English is highly recommended.
