Fellowship Overview
Aimed at those with a proven track record in fields such as research, advocacy, policymaking, community practice, and beyond, Fuller Fellows are expected to bring unique perspectives and demonstrate potential for significant leadership in the peacebuilding arena.
The fellowship is designed not only to enhance the fellows’ skills and professional growth but also to forge connections that transcend geographical and disciplinary boundaries.
At the core of the fellowship experience will be an immersive study tour and peacebuilding exchange, which will take place in the vibrant cities of the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Washington, D.C., from October 13 to 24, 2025.
During this period, fellows will engage in dynamic discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities aimed at sharing experiences and strategies for effective peacebuilding.
Additionally, participants will benefit from a series of supplementary virtual seminars tailored by TAF’s Peace and Stability and Leadership and Exchange programs.
To ensure that each fellow can pursue personalized professional development, TAF will provide a flexible professional development grant.
This grant is designed to support individually tailored projects or aid in the attainment of specific professional objectives, empowering fellows to take charge of their pursuits in peacebuilding.
The program recognizes the pressing challenges posed by the evolving complexity of subnational conflict in the 21st century.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this esteemed fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be 40 years old or younger during the program year (born after October 13, 1985).
- Hold citizenship in one of the following countries or regions: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam.
- Demonstrate passion for contributing to peacebuilding in the Asia-Pacific region through research or practical efforts.
- Achieve fluency in written and spoken English.
- Exhibit eagerness to build a professional network through collaboration with others in the field.
- Emphasize demonstrated leadership capacity, with a minimum of three years of professional experience.
- Possess the drive to complete self-directed coursework and develop a professional project plan.
- Be prepared to commit to the program dates October 13–24, 2025.
- Secure a visa for travel to the United States.
