Job Purpose

As a key member of the REAP Secretariat, the Coordinator of Partnership and Communications serves as the focal point for partner management, communications, and administrative functions.

This position plays a vital role in enhancing the visibility of REAP’s goals and facilitating engagement with relevant stakeholders amid significant international meetings like COP30.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement:
    Engage potential partners, manage onboarding processes, and facilitate ongoing communications and meetings.
  • Communications:
    Draft and schedule social media content, maintain the REAP website, and assist in communications and outreach activities to disseminate critical information.

  • Administration:
    Oversee the Secretariat calendar, logistics for events, and document management to ensure organizational efficiency.
  • Policy Development:
    Assist in policy document preparation and coordinate the engagement with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, or related field.
  • Preferred: Certification in project management.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum 3 years in a relevant role, particularly within humanitarian, climate, or development sectors.
  • Preferred: Experience in workshop organization and understanding current humanitarian guidelines.

Skills:

  • Fluent English, strong writing skills, excellent communication abilities, organizational and planning capabilities, and familiarity with website management.

Job Purpose

The Deputy Head of Delegation (DHD) will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive program management systems for the Pacific Country Cluster Delegation (CCD). This role supports National Societies in enhancing program quality and drives strategic partnership initiatives across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership Management and Humanitarian Diplomacy:
    Build strategic relationships with stakeholders, represent IFRC in key forums, and influence policy developments related to humanitarian efforts.
  • Program Management:
    Oversee the implementation of program management systems and ensure alignment with IFRC’s strategic frameworks, promoting collective learning among Pacific National Societies.

  • Resource Mobilization and Contract Management:

  • People Management:

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Master’s degree in International Development, Public Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • Required: At least 10 years of progressive experience in humanitarian operations or program quality management, with significant involvement in partnership relations.
  • Preferred: Field operation experience.

Skills:

  • Strong management, mediation, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficient in resource mobilization and skilled in conflict management.
