Background
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) serves as the leading organization for sustainable development within the UN system, dedicated to realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Global Project Manager to lead the coordination and management of the Tiger Landscapes Investment Fund (TLIF), focusing on integrating nature-positive business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Programme Coordination:
- Oversee daily project operations, including mobilization of inputs and management of personnel.
- Design and implement the annual work plan and budget while monitoring project progress.
- Ensure effective project outputs and compliance with the results-based management approach.
Country Engagement:
- Coordinate with partner countries to develop tailored LDLF work plans and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the establishment and management of country-specific pipelines of investable projects.
Partnership Coordination and Adaptive Management:
- Facilitate TLIF Steering Committee meetings and ensure timely distribution of crucial information.
- Monitor and report on project impacts, risks, and environmental concerns related to the Fund.
Strategic Communications and Programme Development:
- Manage communications and document lessons learned, presenting TLIF findings at relevant forums.
- Support outreach activities to expand the TLIF into new Tiger Range Countries.

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s) in Business Administration, Environmental Management, International Development, or a related field.
- A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s) with two additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ (Master’s) or 7 years’ (Bachelor’s) experience in project management, particularly within biodiversity conservation.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in sustainability finance, blended finance, and community-based enterprise development.
- Familiarity with UNDP’s policies and procedures is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required.
