Disney Data & Analytics Women Award

The Disney Data & Analytics Women Award is an esteemed recognition that celebrates the creative and meaningful application of data and analytics.

Each year, four exceptional individuals are awarded opportunities that not only reward their talents but also empower them as they move forward in their careers.

This Year’s Award Includes:

  • Registration for the 2025 Disney Data & Analytics Conference
  • Round trip coach-class air transportation
  • A hotel stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
  • Meals and a networking lunch dedicated to Disney Data & Analytics Women

AWARD REDEEMABLE FROM SEPTEMBER 7, 2025 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 11, 2025.

Eligibility

We invite applications from talented students or recent graduates who meet the following criteria:

  • Curious, creative, and interested in exploring careers in data & analytics.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a legal resident of the 48 continental United States or D.C.

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or have graduated on or after December 1, 2024 from an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 in your current program.

Application Process

Application submissions will be accepted as follows:

  • Opening DateTuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. ET (MIDNIGHT)
  • DeadlineFriday, April 18, 2025 at 2:59 a.m. ET

To apply, please complete the following steps:

  1. Fill out the online application form.
  2. Submit the following items along with your application:
    • Your resume/CV detailing your education, work experience, extracurricular activities, and notable achievements.
    • Current transcript(s) from your undergraduate or graduate programs.
    • An essay of 500 words or less on why you are passionate about data & analytics and women in STEM roles.
    • PDF version of a poster (36″x24” horizontal) summarizing an original “Do-It-Yourself” quantitative analytics project you have developed. This should include:
      • The problem to solve
      • Methodology
      • Citations of all data sources used
      • Results of your project.

Your project might take the form of a mobile app, a website, an analytics dashboard, a prediction model, or other analysis contributing insights into your research question.

It can stem from classwork, competitions, or personal endeavors; it must be testable, reproducible, and incorporate analytical methods such as statistical tests, machine learning, optimization, or simulation. Award winners will present their posters during the conference.

If selected as an award recipient, participants agree to present their project at the 2025 Disney Data & Analytics Conference.
