The University of Edinburgh is thrilled to announce the availability of a limited number of scholarships for online learning Masters programmes for the academic year of 2025-2026.
These scholarships will cover full tuition fees and provide a contribution toward the cost of internet access to facilitate a seamless learning experience.
Important Information
Please note that entry to our ChM programmes has been temporarily paused for the 2025/26 academic year.
The department is currently engaged in a thorough revision of the teaching offerings and will not accept new students for this year.
Awards
Each scholarship will encompass full tuition fees, contingent upon satisfactory progress throughout the programme.
Eligibility
A select number of scholarships will be awarded to eligible applicants who secure admission into the MSc Surgical Sciences (Online Learning) programme.
To qualify:
Applicants must be nationals and residents of low-income or lower-middle-income countries (LMICs). For a list of eligible countries, please click HERE.
To be considered for the fully funded scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a national and resident of an eligible LMIC as determined by the World Bank Listing (which may change annually).
- Possess at least a conditional offer for the Master’s programme.
- Submit a letter of support via email to eso.scholarships@ed.ac.uk.
