Schwarzman Scholarship Program (Fully-funded to China)

Schwarzman Scholars invites aspiring leaders to embark on a transformative journey that will redefine their understanding of global affairs through an immersive experience in China.

The Schwarzman Scholars Program is the first scholarship initiative designed specifically to address the challenges posed by the geopolitical climate of the 21st century.

With the growing significance of China in global matters, this fully-funded, one-year Master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing seeks exceptional individuals who aspire to become catalysts for change within their communities and beyond.

The Schwarzman Scholars Program offers:

A One-Year Master’s Degree in Global Affairs with a curriculum designed around three core pillars: Leadership, China, and Global Affairs. Scholars gain tools, leadership skills, and firsthand experiences to effectively navigate the complexities of the global landscape.

An Engaging Curriculum that includes a mix of core and elective courses addressing leadership characteristics, understanding China’s historical and contemporary socio-political landscape, and engaging in the global governance system.

Immersive Learning Experiences, such as:

  • The Deep Dive course, involving cultural excursions throughout Beijing.
  • Chinese Language Instruction tailored for all proficiencies, enhancing communication skills.
  • Optional Internships with organizations in Beijing across various sectors.
  • Personalized Mentorship from an extensive network of leaders across government, business, academia, and NGOs.

Schwarzman Scholars seeks applicants who demonstrate:
