Who Should Apply?
This program is designed for for-profit startups that:
- Are legally incorporated and operational in Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, or South Africa.
- Develop a market-based tech solution targeting one of the following challenge areas:
- Climate Innovation and Adaptation
- Agtech and Food Security
- Circular and Regenerative Economy
- Cleantech
- Biodiversity Protection
- Have a minimum viable product (MVP) and have not raised more than USD 1M in equity.
- Have meaningful customer validation, including successful pilot studies, user engagement, or strategic partnerships.
Useful Tips for a Successful Application
- Be Clear and Concise: Articulate your startup’s mission and solutions clearly in the application. Demonstrating clarity of purpose can significantly enhance your proposal’s impact.
