- Duration: Fixed-term (One year), renewable based on performance and funding

About AIM:
AIM is a leading organization dedicated to promoting awareness, advocacy, and support for intersex persons in Africa.
With a focus on creating safe spaces for dialogue and facilitating network-building among intersex organizations and allies, AIM strives to empower marginalized communities and foster social justice across the continent.
Key Responsibilities:
The Program Officer will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of AIM’s programs and initiatives.
- Liaise with intersex organizations and other stakeholders to strengthen regional networks.
- Assist in grant reporting, data collection, and impact assessment.
- Organize capacity-building workshops and training sessions.
- Contribute to advocacy campaigns and policy engagement efforts.
- Prepare periodic programmatic reports for donors and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, advocacy, or human rights work.
- Established knowledge of intersex rights and social justice issues in Africa.
- Strong organizational, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or Portuguese is an added advantage.
Remuneration:
The compensation for this position is 700 USD per month.
