AAPM is excited to announce the availability of full tuition scholarships for the 2025 AAPM Summer School!
This is a unique opportunity for individuals in the first five years of their careers in medical physics to learn, grow, and connect with industry professionals.
Eligibility Criteria:
Career Stage:
- Strong consideration will be given to those who are within their first five years post-training in medical physics.
- Medical Physics Residents are also eligible but will be considered after those who are full-time employees.
Membership:
- Applicants must be members of AAPM in good standing.
Reference Letters:
- Submission of at least two letters of reference is required. These letters should explain how attendance at the Summer School would benefit the applicant.
Financial Need Documentation:
- A Financial Need Letter from your employer is required, stating that tuition support is not available.
- Alternatively, candidates may submit an attestation confirming their self-employment status.
Application Deadline:
- All application materials must be received by April 15, 2024.
Notification of Selection:
- AAPM will inform applicants of the Scholarship Committee’s decisions on or around May 1, 2025.
Registration Guidance:
It is highly recommended to wait for an email notification regarding the scholarship application status before registering for the Summer School.
Should the scholarship not be awarded, applicants will still have the opportunity to register before early fees expire.
Successful candidates will receive specific registration instructions along with their scholarship notification.
