The Division of Decarbonization and Sustainable Energy (TCS/DSE) plays a crucial role in assisting Member States in transitioning to a sustainable energy future.
The focus is on renewable energy solutions, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technologies while addressing energy poverty and climate change.
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking motivated individuals for our Internship in Decarbonization and Sustainable Energy. Interns will support our efforts to create impactful solutions and programs within our diverse portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Decarbonization and Sustainable Energy Division.
- Conduct research and analyze technical cooperation projects to enhance project impacts through normative and policy interventions.
- Engage in special projects that contribute to the Division while gaining valuable on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Organizational Requirements:
- Age: Minimum 20 years old.
- Education: Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in fields such as industry decarbonization, climate finance, international relations, business administration, or engineering.
- Languages: Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is advantageous.
- Skills: Basic understanding of climate change technologies and policies; familiarity with climate mitigation strategies is a plus.
