The aim to transform potential into tangible impact by taking decisive steps toward fostering change in the technology landscape for women and girls across Africa.
She Code Africa firmly believes that every girl deserves the opportunity to thrive in the tech world. Through this Laptop Scholarship program, they are dedicated to providing equal access to technology, thereby alleviating one of the key barriers that women face in the tech industry.

Application Guidelines
Eligibility Criteria:
Application Submission: Applications must be submitted exclusively via the designated online form. Please refrain from sending direct messages (DMs), tweets, or replies on social media platforms for submission.
Community Membership: Only current members of the She Code Africa community are eligible to apply. Interested individuals can apply for membership at shecodeafrica.org.
Social Media Engagement: Applicants must actively follow She Code Africa on one or more of the following platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
Ownership Requirements: Applicants must not already own a functioning laptop, and they should have already begun their journeys in the tech field (e.g., enrolled in a tech course or actively participating in tech-related projects).
In-Person Requirement: All shortlisted candidates must be able to receive their laptops in person in Lagos. Please note that representatives are not allowed to collect laptops on behalf of applicants.

- Application Deadline: March 15, 2025
- Communication of Outcomes: Following the application deadline, all submissions will undergo thorough screening, and applicants will be notified of their status soon after.

- Be Authentic: Share your personal journey in tech, including your experiences, challenges, and motivations. Highlight what you hope to achieve with the scholarship.
- Demonstrate Commitment: Show your dedication to your tech journey. Provide examples of how you are currently engaged in learning or working in technology.
