Penguin Random House is excited to announce the opening of applications for its 2025 Fall – 2026 Spring Internship Program in the Marketing department of the Children’s divisions.

Penguin Random House is a leading global publishing house committed to bringing the best stories to audiences worldwide.

The Marketing department is focused on developing and executing creative marketing strategies, including advertising and social media campaigns, to promote children’s literature and engaging titles.

Internship Responsibilities

Interns will have a chance to contribute to real-world marketing initiatives, including:

  • Researching media contacts, influencers, and brand partnerships for title campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling content for social media platforms.
  • Assisting with select marketing book mailings from a remote setting.
  • Participating in team brainstorming sessions to generate promotional ideas.

Departments participating in this internship include Penguin Young Readers, Random House Children’s Books, and DK.

Internship Program Details

  • Compensation: Interns will be paid at a rate of $21/hour.
  • Duration: The program runs from September 15th to November 21st, 2025, and January 12th to March 20th, 2026.
  • Location: This internship is offered remotely, but applicants must reside in the U.S. and be over the age of 18.
  • Eligibility: Candidates should be prepared to work full-time and are not required to be currently enrolled in college.
